Universal Robina Corporation’s (URC) Robina Agri Partners (RAP) reinforces its reputation as a purveyor of high-quality farm products as it launches the latest TV commercial for Uno Feeds with multi-awarded journalist Arnold “Igan” Clavio. The upcoming TV ad features Arnold Clavio as a true kabalikat of today’s Filipino hog raisers who continue to benefit from URC’s Uno Feeds in meeting all their hog feed requirements.
Shot in the quiet provincial town of Amadeo, Cavite, the new Uno Feeds TV ad shows Arnold Clavio presenting the benefits that hog raisers can get from using Uno Feeds for their livestock. Even under the hot sun and standing on bare soil, Clavio had no trouble being in a farm with lots of hogs.
Arnold himself experienced raising hogs during his younger days in Tondo, Manila. Coming from a family of humble means, the young Clavio had to make ends meet by helping his family raise hogs for additional income.
“It was difficult, but I don’t regret those days. It taught me a lot about raising these animals, their true feeding needs, and how it means to be a farmer, even in the city,” he says.
Director Nelson Cruz expressed his appreciation for Clavio’s professionalism at the shoot. “At first we had our doubts if we could get him to shoot with us in far-flung farms in the provinces, given his status as an established newscaster and celebrity. But he was really easy to get along with, everyone in the set felt comfortable with him. It was a pleasure working with such a great personality,” he says.
Featured also in the new TV ad is real-life hog feed dealer and backyard raiser Sancho Bermudez, who was impressed with Clavio’s knowledge of husbandry and enthusiasm to help farmers. “He understands what raisers like me want and need in our livelihood, in the feeds we need to give to our livestock. We feel his sincerity in helping us be more passionate about our business,” he says.
For Clavio, sincerity goes hand-in-hand with public service. “I know by heart what it means to raise pigs for a living, so I want to help backyard raisers by presenting them a brand that wants the best for them and their business,” he says.
With its high-quality ingredients that deliver a well-balanced set of nutrients that ensure maximum growth and health of livestock, Uno Feeds has truly earned Clavio’s seal of approval.. Just like Clavio’s solid image as a credible journalist backed by years of experience in the field, Uno Feeds is also farm tested and guaranteed for livestock-raising as it is also used by one of the country’s foremost hog and poultry raiser, Robina Farms.
Catch Uno Feeds’ newest commercial featuring TV’s newest kabalikat, Arnold Clavio, as he brings the good news to Filipino backyard hog raisers.
