Sunday Chillax

PDFPrintE-mail

(BY: REV. BERLIE G. YAP)    Partners, friends, ladies and gentlemen! It’s a carefree Sunday today! We must thank our Creator that we were wake-up in good shape, we’ve food in our tables and we can spend a good quality time today to CHILLAX.

Often, the pressures at our offices and works are too much that it is worth it too for our bodies to recharge come Sundays. Else would we trespass this biological law of rest we may either grow older faster or die younger, God forbid. Sunday must be a day of three things:

REST, FAMILY, & CHURCH.

Rest you have, check! Family day later this afternoon, you will. And to go to church, you must and not fail. Give time also to God, a quality time where you come back to His presence to offer Him thanks for His goodness within the whole week you had. Pray also for a blessed new one this week. Remember, we can’t make it all by ourselves alone. We need His guidance every step of the way. Isn’t it?

eMedia continues to serve you even on Sundays. The duo of Pai Chu and Pai Negra is both nostalgic and humorous in an early Sunday morning.

Of course, Sunday mustn’t be boring. eMedia keeps to entertain you on Sundays to sustain your mood on a steady up. One mention of the “Kamanting Asao” of Pai Chu and Pai Negra’s 6-8 AM program to any Zamboangueño, either here local or overseas can make him giggle in good tickles or cracks of laughter.

The title is yet the appetizer because as the duo flow the program they exchange punches of deep Chavacano words to remind you of some good old-days back home. Much if the Zamboangueño listening is now living in Manila, London, San Francisco, Xiamen, Busan, or any part abroad. He surely will miss home. Kudos Pai Chu and Pai Negs!

When 8-10:30 hits, eMedia splits programming to good films in its TV channels—37 local, 54 Sky Cable & 98 MCTV, and inspirational music in the FM band. Try Mr. NiceGuy’s choices in his Sunday Difference program. He plays positive songs and talks about practical things in life. He also stresses that life is beautiful and is worth to be celebrated every single day. His songs are inspirational but not so religious or churchy.

10:30-12noon a Christian Service of the Victory Christian Fellowship is aired live. eMedia’s wish of the live service is to connect us to the almighty via broadcasting or by TV. It is a fact for us working people  that not too many of us can go to church regularly. You may take it, the slot is a blessing for you—the church is brought to your home. “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matt 6:33

At lunch time, from 12noon-3 PM Sunday Difference returns for the afternoon edition. Mr. NiceGuy stays on his zest to again entertain you with good music and life-application messages. You can send song request too in the program through the eMedia’s mobile numbers, 0906-286-1074 and 0999-626-8244.

3-7 PM is the amiable “eMedioke Mo” of partners Sir Jack Enriquez and Angel Zanoria, an Ateneo Accountancy freshman student, at its first portion from 3-5 PM. And the pretty Miss Gay Lozada Baylosis takes over the steer at the second portion from 5-7 PM. Hosts Sir Jack, Angel and Miss Gay sing also in the program and with good voices.

Videoke fanatics do also come to eMedia to sing. Many of them get to be regular already while some of them, I presume, are now even your favorites, in fairness.

7-9 PM the “Ronda del Noche” of Mr. Nonnie “Uncle Monis” Dondoyano, Wil Bazan and Sir Jack Enriquez. The trio came from a long history of prestigious broadcasting. They are an authority in news and current affairs.

Partners! Check us out in e105.9 FM band or watch us in channels 37 local, 54 in Sky Cable and 98 in Mindanao Cable. You as well can access our tele-broadcast online via ustream through the link www.emediamo.tv.

eMedia is located in RBB Bldg., Villa Sta. Theresa Village, MCLL Highway, Divisoria, Zamboanga City. We are serving local, broadcasting global. Hende lang este radio, TV este! Follow us back again tomorrow in this column.
