THE WORD: “I HAVE MANY CHILDREN IN ALL CORNERS IN (THE WORLD): “THEY DON’T KNOW AND YOU DON’T KNOW THEM, BUT WHEN THEY HEAR YOUR VOICE THEY’LL FOLLOW YOU, BECAUSE MY SHEEP KNOW MY VOICE.”
ONE’S BIRTHDAY SPOILED
I FELT bad, as my birthday (when was that?-dol ya tene man yo amnesia..) was badly spoiled by this crisis. Too, bad, but there’ll always be another blessed day for us, right? So, watch for it!
NORMALCY will inevitably be on our doorsteps sooner or later, so, don’t worry that much my friend.
Slowly but surely, ZC will be back on its feet. That’s what we’re known for. It’s all about our resiliency.. our ability to bounce back.
Nonetheless, our authorities should remain as vigilant and as watchful as ever, and so with all of us, as well.. cay talli pa sos mga remnants, mga ila intel assets.
AND, let’s admit, it’s in here where we have miserably failed. Our intelligence network has never been effectively on work.
Masqi tiene man kta supposed huge amount duly appropriated by our city gov’t for such purpose, yet its remains so weak in this regard, cay ta puede lang stos entra ki y ace grande estruendo..
LISTEN TO THOSE TALKING ABOUT POOR INTEL IN ZC:
“Para mi Jun, mas bueno entra el COA lli, cay dol hinde’ man sila accountable lli. Del hente se sen y nuay kta uwi grande ayuda se ya dale canaton para na aton siguridad ki. El makarabiya ya tene pa se issue cay ya anda lang dao se cuantos officiales local diaton ki,” – Rawhide;
“IT appears their(enemies) intelligence network is much superior compared to ours, be from the PNP or AFP.”- local businessman.
Tiene sila derecho igual contodo canaton ke ya sale bien afectao cuneste crisis ke asta este tiempo nusay kta sabe’ cuando gayot ste lleba trankilo canaton..
THERE are a lot other reactions from our folks here, so traumatized by this crisis, even dubbed as the Mother of all ZC Crisis!!
“ABSOLUTELY, there are lapses in the security of Zamboanga City. Your local leaders have miserably bungled it! We pity all the victims in ZC.”– Pastor;
“Mayor Beng (Climaco) has done a good decision. In-fact, I admire her wisdom in this crisis by preventing those heavily armed MNLF forces to enter right in the heart of our city, or else they could have captured all of us here with ease.” – SP staff;
“ Some people residing in those affected areas should be held accountable, why? because they tolerated those Misuari-identified MNLF breakaway intruders to stockpile their heavy firearms there, the reason why they continue fighting our gov’t troops up to this time.”- Educator;
“BIEN claro, c (Mayor) Beng lejos cun (Cong.) Celso (Lobregat) na decision-making durante de crisis. Celso managed to calm down his people and led in massive protests vs. the MILF attempt to sign the aborted peace agreement about to be forged in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia sometime in 2008.”—Columnist ( of course not me);
“THE mayor is very arrogant. I called her up to let her know that certain sectors would like to intercede for a peaceful settlement of this crisis, but she ignored it. I tried to call her back, but she couldn’t be reached anymore. Had she acceded, there would have been more hostages saved.” – former senior police officer.
“ LET’s understand our mayor, she’s a woman, that’s why she’s always on the verge of tears and very emotional during the press cons.” City hall staff;
“Porke man na Davao, mojer man el mayor di-ila estaba c Sarah Duterte ba kel? Pero’ valiente man?” – Another city hall worker retorted.
