(BY: JUN FELICIANO) THE WORD:
“There was a certain rich man, clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously everyday; and there was Lazarus, laid at his gate, full of sores, and desirous to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: the dogs came and licked his sores. And, it came to pass, that the beggar Lazarus died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and when he lifted his eyes, he was into the torments of the fires of hell. Then, he cried: “Father Abraham, have mercy on me, send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I’m tormented in this flame. But, Abraham said: Son, remember that thou in thy life time receivedst thy good things, while Lazarus the evil things: but now he is comforted while thou art tormented. Beside, all this, between us and you there is this fixed great gulf: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. The rich man then said: “I pray thee therefore, father, thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: I have five brethren ; that he may testify unto them, les they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith: “They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. But the rich man insisted: “Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.” Abraham answered: “If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.’ End of the true story( as the Scriptures never tell a lie at all).
(Words of Enlightenment)
The story is but real that man( like you and I), when death visits us one day, there’s this so-called our life thereafter— meaning, our real life only begins right after our physical death which is not really our real death. This account in the Scriptures is a wakeup call to all of us( mankind) that when our soul departs from our body, that soul of ours will have to face judgment from God. And, when we face eternity, there’s only two final destinations where our soul will go—hell or heaven. There’s no in- between, like purgatory that’s only a tradition. There’s no jumping of the soul from hell to heaven through the supposed processing like the purgatory. That’s only man’s own interpretation, man’s own version and man’s own righteousness that’s not found in the Bible. That’s not of God at all! Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
ON Monday(Sept 29), the city will finally celebrate!
What’s there to celebrate, huh?
IT’s victory, at-last, over the 3-week carnage carried out by the invading MNLF-Misuari armed band that resulted to what’s now known as the infamous Sept. 9, 2013 “Zamboanga Siege.” That standoff killed over 200 people, mostly coming from the attackers’ side. The rest were soldiers, policemen and the innocent civilians.
“Ese el mas fitting date to mark our triumph over the vanquished rebel group that terrorized and traumatized our lives, y hinde’ akel ta llama sila Sept 9 festivities ba kel?” nay a ladra ya tamen c Bogs.
“Puede ya Bogs, hustu ya ladra!. Talli ya gane’ ya realisa ya sila, cay kamali sila. Puede ya man putak!” c Ador ya suheta el boc matabi’ d Bogs.
Ok, what we gathered from City Hall on Wednesday, that amongst the VIPs to grace the Sept. 29 momentous affair will be DILG Sec. Mar Roxas, Defense Sec. Voltaire Gazmin and, most likely, a handful of them having VIP status, as well.
HOW about PINOY(Pres. Noynoy Aquino)?
“Sure, He’s even the one most invited for the coming affair, being the highest official of the land, and being the Commander-In-Chief of the AFP. But, Jun, our President might be very busy on that day, and so it depends on him if he can make it,’ one top CH source explained in advance.
OVERALL, many agree the city’s marking (on Sept. 29) the so-called; “Dia de Victoria y Paz!” Mabuhay!!
MEET our good and pleasant lady friend, Hja. Dang Omar- Naurulla- (LT0-9)District Quality Management Representative in here.
HJA. Dang(as she’s simply addressed) takes charge of its licensing division, and she’s one LTO top personnel just marvelous to talk with.
“I’m happy for this opportunity to inform (the public) that for those applicants ( in the procurement of their drivers’ licenses), they’re allowed to renew their drivers’ license/s one month before the due date to avoid the rush.”
Of-course, she stressed further, and that is to be amply on time to avoid the incurred penalties and/or fines for doing so after its expiration date.
SHE pointed out that the LTO-9 main office situated in Pettit Barrack, ZC, is one well systematized gov’t agency, but very much dependent— so that they’re helpless at all, as they’re subject to what’s now saddling many other agencies( be private or public) when they’re all on off-line.
“The applicants should come not on the day of their expiration( date), but rather 30 days before that,” the lady LTO-9 top officer implored.
