JAIL woes, awes

(BY: JUN FELICIANO) (Words of Enlightenment)

MARY, the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ( in the flesh), if alive today, wouldn’t like us to put her in a position as if she were at par with our Lord Almighty.

BUT, sad to note that so many have been deceived by their own man-made doctrine that runs in contrast to God’s will.

ONLY those words of God found in the Scriptures must be obeyed. Mary herself, wants us all( humanity) to just follow and obey the Lord’s will.

THE Bible can vouch Mary’s own wish for mankind: “There was a wedding celebration in the village of Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the celebration. The wine supply ran out during the festivities, so Jesus’ mother told him, “They have no more wine.”

“Woman, that’s not our problem,” Jesus replied. “My time has not come.” His mother told the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” (John 2: 1-5) Email:

OUR jail population in our city jail station remains a pain in the neck to all of us here, including, of-course, its own sentinels under its jail warden C/Insp. Julius Arro, not lowering their guard even just a second, or else the propensity for hell to break loose inside can’t be discounted at all.

MAJ. Arro concurred: “Yes, this is our perennial problem about the congestion in our jail. We are just helpless.”

Its transfer plan appears like it’s being kept on halt, until, perhaps, the city, with a counterpart from its own, can find a suitable lot where a better and more spacious site can be secured for an ideal jail station to rise.

ARRO seemed not that predictable as far as the transfer plan is concerned, more so, if it looks like there’s this reported budgetary constraint that hinders such a transfer plan.

“There’s no immediate solution, as far as its transfer is concerned,” Arro bared, adding if there’s one agency to blame for the supposed delay, it’s the DBM.

THE present jail station is getting smaller and smaller day by day. That means its population growth balloons as the day goes by.

ARRO said the ratio looks like 1 to2—meaning if they release(on court orders) 1 inmate, at-least 2 or even more take over their cell/s, hence its population inside the jail isn’t going down, but increasing even more.

Alli el problema!

ARRO said about 50% of their jail inmates are accused of illegal drugs—meaning their crimes are drug-related.

THE good jail officer also looks serious in seeing to it that the supposed drug issue inside the jail be resolved totally.

IT was in his early days as our jail warden here that one jail personnel was caught red-handed, trading this illicit drug activity inside the jail station.

ARRO said the accused jail guard is now dismissed from the service, upon his recommendation, while yet facing criminal charges in court.

“IN-fact, this is my advocacy ever since,” Arro underscored.

THE young jail warden also expressed his delight over the good sales of Christmas lanterns manufactured inside the jail facility by the inmates endowed with their skillful handiworks for their seasonal craft during this Yuletide.

HE said there are lot of these buyers coming to their jail station, and the inmates are having brisk sales of their well- crafted decorative lanterns this early yuletide period.

GREAT job, Major!@
