(Sharing time): GOD never gives up on us

PDFPrintE-mail

(BY: JUN FELICIANO) GOD’s love for us (mankind) is beyond question, at all.

AS for the feeble-minded, and of-course, the unbelievers, this is something absurd. THIS is something beyond their even wildest imagination all about God. To them, this is nothing but a myth—just a figment of their imagination, meaning God is but just a fiction, that’s all. To them God does not exist at all, period.

BUT, don’t you know that whenever we believe in love, we believe in God, without our knowing it at all? This has been emphasized many times in this column of mine, yet many don’t appreciate it.

IN-FACT, some don’t like it, with their common remarks about knowing the words of God already, hence we don’t need to reiterate same all over again to them in this column.

I TELL you, the words of God need to be repeated all the more to inculcate in our minds and in our hearts that our soul within us is at stake these days.

JUDGMENT DAY is getting more imminent, in these days.

BUT, God doesn’t give up on us. Come to think of God’s profound love for all of us, human beings: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him shouldn’t perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3: 16).

OUR Lord Jesus Christ was gravely tested by Satan, Lucifer the devil, if he could still win over God’s plan for mankind to be saved from his grip of sin. Thus, he visited Jesus’s spirit while the Lord was in his 40 days and 40 nights’ fasting. He tried everything to discourage Jesus from following his Father Almighty’s will. He tempted Jesus 3 times, but the Lord never succumbed to the devil’s deceptive ways.

THE Bible revealed how Jesus rebuked the devil: “And, Jesus being full in the Holy Ghost, returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness. Being forty days tempted of the devil. And, in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered. And, the devil said unto him, if thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. And, Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. And, the devil, taking him into a high mountain, shewd unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And, the devil said unto him, All this power I will give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me, and to whomever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And, Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan, for it is written, thou shall worship the Lord thy God, and him only shall thou serve. And, he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, if thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence: For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: And, in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. And, Jesus answering  said unto him, it is said, thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. And, when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.”(Luke 4: 1-13)
