(Maguindanao cataclysm): DON’T blame P-Noy, blame ourselves!

(BY: JUN FELICIANO) (Words of Enlightenment)

WHILE the Spirit is God, the Word (made flesh) is Jesus Christ, But, both are but One.

When we believe in Jesus, we believe in God, because Jesus was the one sent by the Almighty Father in Heaven.

WHEN Philip asked Jesus to show them( the Apostles) the Father, what did Jesus answer? “Philip, you have been with me all the time, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me, has seen the Father in heaven.” (John 14: 9). Email:

SOME media practitioners were grumbling as why they were left behind, and never invited nor even informed at all by City Hall’s PIO that its press briefing that Monday morning(Feb. 9) was to be moved to the PRO-9 Headquarters, Camp Abendan, Brgy. Mercedes.

AS for me, it wasn’t a problem, at all. Invited or not, I don’t give a shit!

AFTERALL, with all modesty, I don’t run out of issues, I tell you.

BUT, I simply can’t swallow how it bothered   some peers of ours in media profession here, as they felt being iniquitously left out, when, accordingly, they were not invited by City Hall for its moved venue to Mercedes.

“Sir Jun, nuay man gayot sila invita canamon, cay na Mercedes gale’ el CH press-con ste dia,” they told me— thinking I’d feel the same way they felt.

“C tiempo kel d Cong. Celso(Lobregat) cuando mayor le, hinde’ se puede transfiri cunel CH press conference na otro lugar. Sila anda na City Hall para man guests na press-con,” one journalist derided.

IF there’s to blame for the many lapses/ loopholes in our different gov’t organizations or agencies, including the recent big blunder in the Maguindanao operation vs. a high value JI international terrorist Julkipli Bin Hir alias Marwan last Jan. 25, that cost the lives of the 44 members of the Special Action Force(SAF) of the PNP, blame no one, but ourselves.

WHY? Well, it was the Filipino people who elected the reluctant to-run-for- President(then Sen.) Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III in the May 2013 presidential/local polls.

“In the first place, P-Noy, from the very beginning, never wanted to run for President, as he knew his own limitations in running the affairs of this country.

He’d even beg the Filipino people— egging him to run for the highest elective office of the land— to count him out as their presidential bet, by all means.

“But, we insisted, persisted him to run for President, just after his mother, former Pres. Cory Aquino— hailed as the Democracy Icon, passed away in 2012. HENCE, whatever shortcomings that P-NOY must have erred in his present governance, should be blamed on nobody, but us all who voted him as our President,” noted one political aficionado here.

 Pues pasensya kita stee!
