How Jesus triumphs over Satan

ALL mankind must give thanks, and even praise our Lord JESUS CHRIST for not falling into the deception of the devil, Satan Lucifer while in the desert fasting for 40 days and nights.

HAD Jesus fell into Satan’s entrapment, there’d have been no Salvation to talk about for all humanity.

JESUS wouldn’t have made any difference with our first created parents Adam & Eve who fell into sin when the devil tempted them in the garden of Eden through deception.

LET’S compare their separate episodes. First, that of Adam and Eve: “And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and keep it. And, the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But the tree of knowledge  of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die…And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept, and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof…(Genesis 2: 21) And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.(Genesis 2: 25)

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die. For God doth know that in the day ye eat  thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” (Genesis 3: 1—5).

The woman(Eve), as written in the Holy Bible, disobeyed God’s command by partaking the forbidden fruit. Then, she gave the same to her husband Adam, and Adam also partook it.

UPON their disobedience to God’s will, they died, right there and then, spiritually— though yet alive physically, living more than a thousand in age.

Because of their sin, we all inherit death, as well.

But, Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, came down on Earth to save us. How? By doing God’s will, only.

AND, this was how Jesus won over the devil (when out in the desert, fasting) — the same stranger who visited our first created parents Adam and Eve in the beginning of God’s whole creation.

The devil said: “If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.” Jesus answered: “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Then, the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on the pinnacle of the temple. And saith unto him, “If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee; and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against the stone.” Jesus said unto him, it is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.” Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them. And saith unto him, “All these things will I give you thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.” Then saith Jesus unto him, “Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” (Matthew 4:3—10).
