Q.) HOW POWERFUL AND SHARP ARE THE WORDS OF GOD?

A.) “FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS ALIVE AND ACTIVE. SHARPER THAN THE ANY DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD, IT PENETRATES EVEN TO DIVIDING SOUL AND SPIRIT, JOINTS AND MARROWS, IT JUDGES THE THOUGHTS AND THE ATTITUDES OF THE HEART.” (HEBREWS 4:12). Email: jayfeliciano2@yahoo.com

STREET RUMBLES ON THE UPSURGE?

MORE sabotaging activities, or was it high time for our young people to rumble on our major streets?

At-least, two major street rumblings were reported last week, the police confirmed. ZCPO information officer Insp. Edwin Duco said on Monday that those reported rumbles were labeled as alarm scandals in their respective barangays of Tetuan and Canelar.

“We already filed cases against the suspects (in the two separate incidents),”the police lieutenant disclosed during last Monday’s press-con in City Hall.

The trouble with these suspects, according to Duco, they were playing hide and sick with our local cops when sent to apprehend them, or disperse their street rumbles and arrest them on the spot, upon receipt of the complaints from their concerned citizens.

IF such alarming street donnybrooks are happening nowadays in our locality, then, something serious must be done by our law enforcers to stop them, lest they’ll get out of hand, then spread to other neighborhoods in our community.

Our la bella has been jarringly described as a melting pot, as always, for it’s now tagged as a city where diverse cultures and traditions of other ethnic groups from the different parts of the region converge, and transform it as their hotbed for their multifarious activities.

Street rumbles usually trigger among the young rival gangs who get wild and daring whenever they meet and clash on the city streets that could even develop into their free-for-all brawls.

AND, they become even severely dangerous if and when they get out of controlas both dueling groups are prone to arming themselves well with all sorts of weapon, to include the high power firearms.

So, this is what grievously worries everybody here, for they’re usually believed as highly indulged (mostly by the youth)on drugs, presumably hooked to a dope known as shabu, as always.

OUR local authorities should therefore do something to stop all these rumbles occurring on our streets, by all means (of-course, we talk about all legal means, and not the unlawful and violent acts such as what’s happening in Caloocan City where they target mostly teens to be salvaged, on the pretext that they’re hardcore drug  suspects, but supposedly out to sabotage the war on illegal drugs of PDu30.

That’s the sad story behind it.

ZCWD URGES WATER CONSUMERS

TO CHECK BUSTED WATER PIPES

IN another issue, ZCWD has cautioned all its water concessionaires to check whether their water pipe-connections have been busted due to the strong water pressure now being experienced in a lot of affected areas of the city, as they’re on their penultimate phase of their herculean rehab water system project in joint venture with multi-national firm Prime Water.

EdBaños, the ZCWD PIO desk head, informed this during last Monday’s press-con, while at the same time, he said that the water level in their Pasonanca reservoir remains excellently normal at 74.20 cubic meters. He said the amount of rainfalls in the mountains is just impressive as it can sustain its normal water elevation in its dam-site for a longer period of time in this Climate Change phenomenal era, despite it’s supposed to be the onset of the wet season in the country.

“There’s still its normal . (By Jun Feliciano)
