During calamities, who is “wise”, who is “fool”?

LIFE’S INSPIRATIONS: “…`Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practiceis like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock’…” (Jesus Christ, our God and Savior, in Matthew 7:24-25, Holy Bible).

INSTEAD OF BEING AMAZED BY RAINS, FLOODS, WINDS, WE SHOULD PREPARE:  In a message going the rounds of social networking sites lately which allegedly came from one Joel Rosenberg, it is being made to appear that the strong rains, rampaging floods, and howling winds that are punishing many places in the world, particularly the Americas today, as shown by Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Jose, are truly amazing.

With due respect, however, the truth is that mankind should not be amazed by these calamities, considering that they were foretold to happen long ago. What man should be doing at this point instead is relentless preparations to enable them to escape the damage, destruction, and death arising from rains, floods, and strong winds.

The only problem is that, because not many people are possessed with the requisite awareness of the prophecies or predictions, if you may, concerning the death and destruction caused by coming rains, floods, and strong winds, many will fall victim to these calamities. Many will suffer destruction, and many will die, which should not be the case if only they cared to listen to the predictions.

LET’S REPEAT: THE RAINS, FLOODS, AND WINDS WERE PREDICTED TO HAPPEN: Where were these predictions written? I know many will raise their eyebrows and smirk once again if I disclose the source of the predictions that rains, floods, and strong winds will come, but I have no other recourse to repeat and repeat the source of these predictions. I say, once again, the Bible predicted or prophesied the coming of rains, floods, and winds.

We can read the warnings about rains, floods, and winds in Matthew 7:24-27, where Jesus, our God and Savior and who is God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is the One speaking. He said, from these verses, that indeed rains, floods, and winds will come.

According to Jesus, only two kinds of people will face the destruction and death brought about by rains, floods, and winds. The first is the one who is considered “wise”, while the second is he who is considered a “fool”. Who is “wise”? Who is the “fool”? For those who are interested to know, I say get your Bible, now, and read what Matthew 7:24-27 is saying.

WHO IS WISE AND WHO IS A FOOL DURING CALAMITIES? According to the warnings aired by Jesus, the “wise” man wouldn’t be endangered nor killed even if strong rains, high floods, and howling winds will come. The reason: he is considered to have put up his house on top of stone, and he will not be shaken by any tragedy.

On the other hand, the “fool” will “perish and will fall with a great crash”. The reason: he is considered to have put up his house on the sands, so it was easy for him to fall with a great crash when the rains, floods, and strong winds will come.

On account of many reasons, the worsening rains, floods, and winds on earth are expected to happen. All of these will happen, and chiefly because Jesus said they will happen. Whatever, there will be those who will perish and fall with a great crash, and there will be those who will be saved from them. How about you who’s reading this column now, are you wise or are you fool?
