Q.) WHO IS SATAN LUCIFER THE DEVIL?

A.) HE IS AN ARCHANGEL LIKE MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL, TOO. BUT, HE REBELED GOD ALONG WITH ABOUT 1/3RD OF THE ANGELS’ POPULATION IN HEAVEN. IN-FACT, HE USED TO BE THE MOST POWERFUL ANGEL OF GOD UNTIL HE BECAME SO AMBITIOUS THAT HE EVENTUALLY REBELED AGAINST GOD AND TRIED TO DISPLACE GOD HIMSELF. THE BIBLE SAYS, “HOW ART THOU FALLEN FROM HEAVEN, O LUCIFER, SON OF THE MORNING! HOW ART THOU CUT DOWN TO THE GROUND, WHICH DID WEAKEN THE NATIONS! (ISAIAH 14:12) Email: jayfeliciano2@yahoo.com

NO NEED FOR COUNCIL RESOLUTION

WE heard everything what they said in the supposed “Zamboanga Hermosa Festival 2017” irregularity issue involving some cash donations and/or sponsorships that reportedly were not turned over to the City Treasurer’s Office (CTO), for proper accounting.

THIS issue won’t just die down easily, as a lot believe heads will inevitably roll, in the end.

“She (Mayor Beng) wants us to be transparent on this issue. So, we’re trying to help her on this score, for if not, it’s our Mayor (Beng) who’ll suffer the brunt. Her administration will surely be affected,” a top City Hall source who talked on condition of anonymity bared yesterday.

THE source admitted there were lapses committed by the special events’ team headed by Christian Olasiman. “But, with all due respect, this is the only time that receipts were issued for the event (Zamboanga Hermosa Festival 2017), although, in the previous we managed to compel on them in one or two instances to have them issued with Ors (official receipts),” the source added.

Then, came my intuitive query, “You mean to say, in the past no whatsoever,  Ors (official receipts) were issued when donations or sponsorships reached City Hall in the name of partnering with our private sector willing to help promote our yearly Zamboanga Hermosa Festival?”

“No comment,” was the source’s crisp reply.

DURING the council’s weekly regular session last Tuesday, City Hall’s top honchos, lady City Administrator Apple Go, acting City Treasurer Romelita Candido, City Budget Officer Ferdie Alvarez, City Tourism Sarita Hernandez, Zamboanga Hermosa special events head Christian Olasiman were invited to shed light on the alleged irregularities stumbled when a cash check amounting to 45,000 pesos was issued in the name of a person, instead that of the Office of the City Treasurer.

WHEN, called to explain, Olasiman admitted it was he alluded to, and that he en-cashed it, but that its amount was intended for the the Summer Festival activities held much earlier, and not for the Zamboanga Hermosa Festival 2017. He said it was all accounted for, as reflected in his financial report for the office of the City Treasurer.

Acting City Treasurer Candido said, during the proceeding in the council, she couldn’t accept the check for it wasn’t issued in the name of CTO.

Her unsolicited advice, however, was for them to follow proper procedures of her office to avoid any suspicion in public minds, according to her.

THE source welcomed COA to come in. “If we have nothing to hide why afraid for COA to come in?” the source miffed.

However, the source said it doesn’t need a council resolution to be able to seek COA’s intervention on this issue, stressing, “Councilor Rudy Lim himself can go to COA, and complain without the need of a council resolution.”

RIKKI LIM TO BRING CASE TO OMBUDSMAN

MR. Rikki Lim—a no-nonsense member of Zamcelco’s board of directors is poised to file charges vs. certain colleagues of his in the power coop for alleged grave anomalies unearthed just recently.

Rikki Lim makes sure our power coop here is really meant to serve its utmost to its own member-consumers, and get their money’s worth that right now, it just isn’t delivering what’s due them with its financial status literally getting worse by the day.

HE also said he isn’t buying at all the idea of the power coop’s present venue to be transferred, and that its resuscitated lot-for-sale deal with Robinsons won’t work at all for the benefit of its member-consumers. He said he’ll thoroughly explain later on as to why he’s opposed to it.

THAT’s Rikki Lim, Zamcelco’s board of director for district 1, for you. (By Jun Feliciano) (30)
