RASH OF GUN-SHOOTINGS IS BACK!

THE rash of gun-related incidents is back!

Why is it so?

They say one main reason for all of these bloody shooting incidents is due to the unstoppable proliferation of the loose firearms in our city.

Guns of all types abound in our place. Name it, they have it all.

Damn!

KASANYANGAN-TETUAN NEW ROAD SET

ABOUT 40 illegally-built structures were all finally demolished in Brgy. Kasanyangan. With its demolition works in the areacompleted, the city’s new road opening project looms to commence. It’ll eventually help ease the heavy traffic flow in all these adjoining barangays of Tetuan, Tugbungan, Talon-Talon, Kasanyangan and Sta. Catalina. All these mentioned big barangays are situated right within distance of the heart of the city. “Perhaps, by early next year, we can already the start its(road) construction,” acting City Engr. Chris Navarro hinted. He said the new road opening has roughly 700-meter length in distance. It’ll cross such distance from Brgy. Kasanyangan towards Don Alfaro Road, Brgy. Tetuan—passing through near the vicinity of its City Coliseum.

FINALLY, after more than two-decades of waiting, the Kasanyangan-Tetuan new road opening will come next—it’s 2nd only—after more than two decades, since they built the Nuñez road in the early 1990s.

JAWO’  READY TO DEFEND THE “YELLOW”

DIST. 1 Cong. Celso Lobregat blamed the “yellow” in the council for the ouster of Dist. 1 Councilor Charlie Mariano. He was said very much upset for what they did to Charlie. Charlie ran under the “red” team of Cong. Lobregat in the last May 2016 local polls here, and remarkably took the no. 4 slot in the council race for district one. He was said to be a staunch Lobregat loyalist through and through—until these recent days when same loyalty of his, was noted as pretty waning, and appeared inclined more to support the “yellow.”

“Poreso gale, c Cong. Lobregat scoffed them (yellow), saying that they were the very ones who had filed raps with Comelec versus Mariano to disqualify him, for having been convicted by the High Tribunal for the crime of violating the anti-bouncing check law, and yet, according to Lobregat, when Mariano was served the ousterorder issued by the Comelec en-banc the other Tuesday, during the council’s regular session, “The yellow poured out their support and sympathy for the disgraced Mariano. Lobregat condemned their “hypocrisy and plasticity.”

MAYOR Beng Climaco-Salazar’s designated spokesman former Dist. 1 Councilor Jawo’ Jimenez, now the city housing division head, said he’s ready to defend the side of the “yellow” that belongs to his lady boss’ camp.

“I’m ready to defend her, if asked,” the young Jimenez vowed.  (By Jun Feliciano(30)
