The national government will buy the 71.90-hectare property in Cabatangan belonging to the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, according to a statement released by City Hall.

Mayor Climaco herself confirmed receiving a text message from National Defenmse Sec. Delfin  Lorenzana.

And Climaco described the latest development as “positive news” saying that she had constantly lobbied for the city’s non-inclusion in the BBL and the return of the regional center to Zamboanga.

Regional center? That’s entirely to the Cabantangan property. What gives?00

This matter only reminds me of a childhood story the oldies related tp us:

Mother: Juan, saca llena.

Juan: Ay, matunuk.

Mother: Juam saca Agua.

Juan: Ay, malanduk

Mother: Juan, cusina.

Juan: Ay, mi bariga luntuk.

Ya pasa un hora.

Mother: Juan, bene come.

Juan: Etuet, hende mas yo busuk.

In congress, Lobregat battled tooth and nail to include the return of the Cabatangan property to the city.

Now, somebody is scrambling to enjoy the spoils.

SS wonders how Lobregat sizes up these Climaco statements. He he he - Itching to hear his reaction.

Facebook acknowledged Thursday a software glitch that changed the settings of some 14 million users, potentially making some posts public even if they were intended to be private.

The news marked the latest in a series of privacy embarrassments for the world’s biggest social network, which has faced a firestorm over the hijacking of personal data on tens of millions of users and more recently for disclosures on data-sharing deals with smartphone makers.

Erin Egan, Facebook’s chief privacy officer, admitted  in a statement that the company recently “found a bug that automatically suggested posting publicly when some people were creating their Facebook posts.”

Here’s hoping the glitch spared Philippine fb users.  (By Jimmy Cabato)
