(Sharing Time) Where are the dead now?

PDFPrintE-mail

AS we’ve just commemorated All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, in honor of our dead, many must have wondered about where their souls are right now?

There are a lot of versions we must have come across about our so-called life after death.

As I browsed some of their beliefs that are all just a part of the Truth, I have to tell you I’m a stickler to the Truth, and that’s it, period. When we need to search for the Truth, there’s nothing more than what’s being revealed in the Holy Bible, which is the Book of Life. The Bible speaks nothing but the Truth, because it all contains the Words of God.

The Bible says after we (human beings) die, we face our Creator who judges all—both the living and the dead.

In our graves, we’re all like just in our deep sleep--awaiting God’s Judgment Day to inevitably come one day soon. One day to God, is like thousand year to mankind. So, even those in deep slumber just in recent times, are no different from those in same state a thousand year ago. They all fall in same mere one (1)-day count period to God. To man, it’s very long time ago, but not to God. To Him, it’s simply very short.

Man’s description of death is too physical, while God’s is purely Spiritual.

This is why, to God, having merely a body and a soul minus His Spirit is still dead in His sight. We need to have His Spirit, so we can live again. God’s Spirit in us will give us Eternal Life. When we’re in the Spiritual, we find out that our body tells us that one day we’ll all return to the ground. The Bible says, “ALL GO UNTO ONE PLACE, ALL ARE OF THE DUST, AND ALL TURN TO DUST AGAIN.“ (Ecclesiastes 3:20)

The soul tells us who we are. In this verse found in the Holy Bible, it speaks of the soul and the Spirit, separately: “FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS QUICK, AND POWERFUL, AND SHARPER THAN ANY TWO-EDGED SWORD, PIERCING EVEN IN THE DIVIDING ASUNDER OF THE SOUL AND SPIRIT, AND OF THE JOINTS AND MARROW, AND IS A DISCERNER OF THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF THE HEART.” (Hebrews 4:12)

And, the Spirit tells us who our Creator is. This is why we need to not only hear but most important obey His Words. The Bible says, “NOT EVERY ONE THAT SAITH UNTO ME, LORD, LORD, SHALL ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, BUT HE THAT DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN.” (Matthew 7:21)
