Q.) IF EVER THOSE WHOM YOU PREACH THE WORDS OF GOD REFUSE TO RECEIVE, WHAT RECOURSE CAN YOU BETTER TAKE FOR THE LORD’S SAKE?

THERE’s a big possibility that Crown Investment Holdings--Desco, will, in most likelihood, come in to implement its over P 2 billion pesos Investment Management Contract (IMC) before the year ends. “Most likely, in the later part of November or the month of December," a top source from Zamcelco strongly hinted over the weekend.

The source who talked on condition of anonymity, confided to this corner that Crown’s own eight (8)-man audit team arrived in la bella early last week for a rigorous five(5)-day audit task on Zamcelco’s present status, with regards to its technical facilities and its current financial records.

“If there are no hitches along the way, they’ll move in before the year ends,” the source said.

The same source who holds a key position in our long-time beleaguered power coop, expressed high optimism, that if everything goes well with the coming in of Crown Holdings’ IMC, Zamcelco will surely be able to improve its poor status right now, and that’s from Category C (its lowest, so far) to Category A. “This means that if we can manage to reach that Category (A) level, Zamcelco no longer has any  debt or obligation to any of its known Independent Power Suppliers (IPPS), as Crown Holding is there to address it as guaranteed under the IMC,” the source explicated.

IF that’s what they assure us, well and good. But, that doesn’t mean, though, they won’t pass it on to us, member-consumers, right?

“Not immediate, Jun, as it’s still Crown Holdings to first take the risk for all member-consumers. Their earnings will be felt, probably, after five years, yet. But, certainly, they’ll gain, in the end,” the source further explained.

I have to make my Pencing for today this brief, as, again, I’m afraid, lights where I’m right now pounding my keyboard, might just go off. Thanks, see you on my next episode. In the meantime, please bear with me. Till then, guys. (30)
