Filinvest house robbed

A resident of a high-end subdivision in Tumaga-Lunzuran Road, Barangay Tumaga, this city, was reportedly robbed of gadgets and cash amounting to more than P200,000 by unidentified burglars last Friday.

A report reaching Police Station 5 showed that the burglars carted away an ACER laptop worth P100,000; an iPhone 7 cellular phone worth P60,000; a digital Canon camera worth P50,000; a G-shock wristwatch worth P12,000 and cash amounting to P10,000 from the residence of Marvie Gonzales Kikkawain Filinvest Subdivision, Villa San Ignacio, Tumaga.

Ocular investigation conducted by PO1 Heddy Boy Tejero disclosed that a wooden chair was recovered outside the house near the opened double sliding window at the side of the house which the suspects may have used as their entry point.

Probers said, the suspects went into the room of the son of Kikkawa where the items were taken before fleeing the place.

Police inspected the surroundings of the house and found a wallet but the P10,000 cash in it was already missing said the victim.

During the interview, Kikkawasaid when she woke up at 5:00 a.m. of Friday, she noticed the door of his son’s room already open.

The incident was reported to the police by Stephen Gonzales, also of the same subdivision,two hours after the discovery of the robbery.

A deeper investigation is being conducted to identify and arrest the burglars and the possible recovery of the items. (Eugene A. Lasprilla)
