PRO9 awards RACO9 for accomplishments

Police Regional Office 9 (PRO9) regional director Chief Supt. Billy Beltran yesterday commended the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Office 9 (RACO 9) led by Chief Inspector Joel Tuttuh for busting the cybercrime pornography activity andthe eventual arrest of the suspect, Eric Acain y Abad, alias Madam in Zone 8, Barangay Ayala, this city, on august 26, 2017.

PRO9 spokesperson, Chief Inspector Helen Galvez said,Chief Supt. Beltran conferredthe PNP Efficiency Medal to the RACO 9 members in recognition of their meritorious performance,specially in rescuing the 2 minors and the confiscation of 11 computer units and other gadgets used in the illegal cyber operation.

Galvez said the recipients of the award were Chief Insp. Joel Tuttuh, Senior Police Officer 1 Charlene Nabua, Police Officer 3 Mary Grace Francisco, Police Office 2 Art Binas and the two Police Officer 1 rank Art Josef Vladez and Jenny Ian Kalayakan.

She added that the PRO9 chief lauded the RACO 9 members for a job well done, stating that the implementation of the search warrant for violation of R.A. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2002) and R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Firearm and Ammunition Regulation Act of 2013) was a success.

The police regional director said that the RACO 9 members are cited for  true leadership qualities and essence of a true and dedicated public servant which they earned honor and prestige, worthy of praise and emulation for the entire PNP community and their peers. (Eugene A. Lasprilla)
