Zambo Norte has new police director

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has installed a seasoned and senior officer as the new police director in the province of Zamboanga del Norte.

Designated as the new police director of Zamboanga del Norte is Senior Superintendent Raul Mendita Tacaca, who replaced Senior Superintendent Edwin Buenaventura C. Wagan in a fitting ceremony held in Camp Hamac, Brgy. Sicayab, Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte.

The change of command ceremony was presided by PCSupt Billy B. Beltran, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 9.

PSSUPT Tacaca is a native of Quirino province and a graduate of PNPA Batch 1995 Patnubay Class. He was assigned in Negros Island and later assigned in Camp Crame under the Intelligence Division before he was assigned as acting provincial director of Zamboanga del norte.

Tacaca expressed his gratitude for the trust given him by his superiors to serve in the position and thus vows to do everything mandated by law.

The marching order of Police Regional Police Director Billy Beltran to the police official is to continue the intensified campaign against illegal drugs and other forms of criminal activities, including shooting incidents and activities of lawless groups in the province.

Tacaca promised to perform well and intensify the campaign against all criminalities in the province with the support of the community. (Kikay Dongallo)
