A security guard who is working as part time Small Town Lottery (STL) agent was shot dead by two unidentified riding-in-tandem criminals at Purok Tinangkong, Barangay Balintawak, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur (ZDS) Province last Friday.

The fatality was identified as Wilson Rosales Camillo, 39, married, a security guard detailed at Norbert Guillar Memorial National High School, a part time STL agent and a resident of Purok Nazareth 2, Barangay Buenavista, Pagadian City.

Police Regional Office 9 (PRO9) reports disclosed that Camillo suffered multiple gunshot wounds on the different parts of his body that caused his instantaneous death.

Initial investigation showed that the victim was driving his Suzuki Smash 115 without plate number while distributing the STL number tips to their patrons at about 6:45 a.m.

PRO9 spokesperson Chief Insp. Helen Galvez said that the suspects who were sporting face mask and black cap suddenly appeared and shot the victim.

Galvez added that the victim managed to evade the shot and fled away from his attackers, however, the gunman still chased him to finish him.

The PRO9 spokesperson added that the Scene of the crime Operatives (SOCO) processed the crime scene and recovered 11 spent shells of caliber .45 Pistol.

Motive of the incident is still unknown, police said.

A deeper investigation is ongoing to establish the identity of the perpetrators and their whereabouts for their possible arrest. (Eugene A. Lasprilla)
